All Systems Are Go…

Well, that’s it… Everything is packed, the bike has been serviced and got new tires. More importantly, I have finished all the reaming work from this crazy first semester of the year, so I’m thinking I’m not leaving anyone behind. I’m ready to go, and the only concern now is trying to get some sleep. Probably won’t succeed much, I’m way too excited to get any decent sleep tonight. I guess I will find some “road rhythm”  after a couple of days, and my sleep cycle will begin to go back to normal levels… I did a little ride around the neighborhood this afternoon just to check how the bike handles and it feels great. Heavy, of course, but still very agile and looking like it is up to the task ahead. If there’s something that can take me to Alaska and back through all those roads, it’s this GSA. I also got a nice present from Nicole and the kids: a little Sulley, and I’m happy to have him riding on the bike! BTW, the outfit on the first photo is NOT my riding suit…
