South Africa and Swaziland – 2014

My recent trip to South Africa and Swaziland was meant to be a scouting tour, getting to know the countries where the first PhotoMoto tour will happen next year. For those not yet familiar with the PhotoMoto concept, it is a combination of a photography workshop and a relaxed motorcycle tour for two full weeks, and it promises to be a memorable experience. Judging from everything I was able to see and feel there during my 14 days, touring through absolutely amazing places, it will be more way than that. The PhotoMoto tour will probably be the first of many such tours to be taken by those who decide to join me in this great adventure.

I chose Ayres Adventures to partner with me for this unique, first-of-a-kind style of workshop, and the decision proved to be the right choice. Ayres has been in the motorcycle tour business for over 12 years now, and they definitely know what they are offering to their lucky customers: their guides know everything about the places they travel, the accommodations are world-class, and the whole trip is designed to make you feel comfortable and confident from the very first moment you climb on the motorcycle. I could write quite a lot more about everything I experienced there for these past 2 weeks, but I’d rather let the photos do the talk this time. Here are some of the first ones, and if you would like to obtain more information on the PhotoMoto Africa 2015 tour, please feel free to check it out here.

For now, all I have to say is that I’m absolutely excited to be able to pass along over 25 years of photography knowledge to my fellow riders on the 2015 tour!
